Walk-Run-Ride with Team Lions in the Tour de Cure. This year you can choose between walking, running or bike-riding with Team Lions as we suit up to beat diabetes. This is one of the best active events in Southern California, set at the Santa Fe Recreational Dam offering new scenery and paths to explore. With the closing of the Vista Nova Home for the Blind, its assets were transferred to the Pasadena Community Foundation for establishment and administration of a grant to assist persons with visual impairments in the area. We will hear from Mike deHilster, PCF’s Program Officer and Marketing Manager about the newly constituted grant and the process undertaken to establish the program.

Although our speaker has not been confirmed, we hope to hear from a representative from the City of Pasadena to discuss the city’s efforts to remove barriers to access for persons with disabilities. A supplemental notice will be sent once that confirmation is received.

LCI Convention: Chicago
Lions get ready to celebrate your Centennial in the place where it all began! Lions Clubs International is planning a magnificent celebration of Lions and for Lions in Chicago. Highlights of the many activities scheduled throughout convention week include the three plenary sessions, the festive International Parade of Nations, thought provoking guest speakers, a spectacular international show, and the installation of our 2017-2018 International President.
