| In Memory-PDG Richard Bennett |
11/25/08
To all Lions,
Richard Bennett a friend and fantastic Lion passed away this morning.
Richard joined the Pasadena Club in 1992 and was my Secretary in 1994-1995. We traveled together to many meetings and conventions that year. Richard has been unbelievably helpful to see our clubs success over the years. He was honord to bring so many members into our club and Lionism in the district. He was presented his first Melvin Jones fellow in 1996. He served as our president in 1997-98 and was elected District Governor in 2002. Though not feeling well he served as our treasurer in 2003-2005 and secretary again in 2006-2007. He continued to help cook and serve meals at the Union Station and participated in bell ringing with the Salvation Army. He was always helpful in so many ways. We will miss your pleasent smile and infectious laugh.
Richard, you exemplifoed our motto "we serve".
We will miss you.
Services will be held at the Salvation Army Chapel, 960 E. Walnut, Pasadena at 3 pm. The Salvation Army is located at the corner of Mentor and Walnut.

| In Memory-Lion Nick Schultz |
To all Lions Members and Friends:
Lion Nick passed away on Friday night, October 3, while on a camping trip in Kern County.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren whom he loved so dearly.
Lion Nick had been a member of the Pasadena Host Lions since 1990. He served as our President in 1996-1997. Lion Nick had a wonderful jovial attitude which he often displayed at club with his questions and jokes. He was our Santa Claus at several Christmas parties where he kept everyone laughing as he read minds Johnny Carson style with blank cards. He kept us in stitches as our tail twister for many years.
He was a Melvin Jones Fellow.
He did a splendid job as our New Years Eve Breakfast Chairman for many years. He was active in the District over the years.
Lion Nick was also a Pasadena Y's Man serving as their President and was a Vice President this year. He was very involved in their fund raising events and always championed the Pasadena YMCA.
We all loved you Lion Nick and we'll miss you.
President Steve Monez
